Subject:
Description:
Exposes the massage therapist to mindfulness-based skills that can help potentiate their therapeutic competence by learning techniques based on Tragerwork principles. Inherent to the skills is support to the therapist's own self-care. The basis of this class in particular, is the experience of grounding by promoting proprioceptive rooting for balance and stability. Feet, legs and hips, and their interconnection with the rest of the body, are the focus of this training. Prerequisite: Must be a licensed massage therapist to enroll in this course.
