Assist English language learners with the transition out of English as a Second Language (ESL) courses into mainstream course with native speakers of English, this course focuses on strengthening reading, writing and/or language skills and prepares students to join Adult Basic Education/ GED preparation courses. Utilizing ??skills-based questions?? to focus on specific skills within the language arts curriculum, students will concentrate on five categories of learning: knowledge, reading, vocabulary, written response, and language usage.
