This course explores the importance of user-centric focused interface elements, intuitive layouts and immersive content presentation through strong UI/UX design. Students will discover the role that UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) designers play in game development and learn how they work together to create engaging player experiences. Students will be introduced to core concepts and methods for game specific contexts in the areas of UI/UX design. Interactive elements are critical to innovative game design and enhancing the overall player engagement. Students will learn the steps in the design process to provide solutions that solve a variety of real world game design problems.
