The purpose of this course is to acquire advanced conducting skills and choral techniques through an exploration of music from various historical style periods. This includes analysis of music from the conductor's perspective, discovering and solving technical challenges in choral and choral/orchestral literature, and designing rehearsals to facilitate work in various genres with the appropriate musical forces.
