This course is an advanced study of law and regulation applicable to business organizations, with an emphasis on corporations. Topics covered include agency, types of business organizations, mergers and consolidations, securities law and regulation, negotiable instruments, debtors' and creditors' rights, bankruptcy, environmental law, consumer law, and antitrust. Corporate social responsibility and sustainability will be integrated where applicable.
