Description:
This course provides an introduction to game strategies, gameplay and game planning. This course provides the student with an overview of the various classifications of games, definitions in game strategies and theory, sequential and simultaneous move games, pure and mixed strategies, equilibrium concepts, and repeated games. In addition, students will gain a practical foundation in game design with a focus on concept development, development of game ideas, themes, and metaphors into gameplay and overall player experiences. Students will further be exposed to the basics of effective game concepts, strategic planning and presentation.
