Allows students opportunities to reflect on prior experiences supporting the learning of peers and apply new concepts to their work as peer educators in Commonwealth UniversityGCOs Learning Centers. Topics include cognitive processes for constructing knowledge, learning center andragogy/pedagogy, affective domain factors for fostering learning, and developing multicultural competence to support learners. Topics are designed for alignment with Level 2 College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) tutor training program certification.
