Explores the relationship between global health and social and economic development. Students will learn about key players in international healthGCOUN agencies, Ministries of Health, and Non-governmental Organizations. Students will consider the impact that political action has on the health and wellbeing of individuals. The course will be global in scope but with a special emphasis on health problems affecting people in the developing world. Counts toward political science major or minor.
