GCiGCiIntroduces the student to the science of nutrition, factors related to the nutrient needs of the body, and the foods that meet these needs. It also examines how good nutrition plays a role in the health of the individual. Healthy and diseased states related to nutrition will be discussed in this course. This course supports standards of the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics and is taught by a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RDN).GCi
