Description:
Provides for the study and performance of representative works for guitar ensemble, ranging from large guitar orchestra to small chamber groups (e.g. quartets). Ensemble skills will be improved during the class, including cueing, rehearsal techniques, and the listening skills and body language that are the essence of successful chamber music performance. Musical elements such as phrasing, tone quality, dynamics, etc. will also be an essential part of the class. May perform on and off campus.
