Introduces the concepts and techniques of project management: applications include information systems, healthcare, finance, and business projects. Covers project management processes, methods, tools, success factors and successful team building strategies as well as the phases of project management: project initiation, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and project closure. The course follows the principles set forth by the project management body of knowledge (PMBOK) as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
