Addresses the basic concepts of routine and emergency patient care and underscores the physical and emotional needs of the patient and family. This course focuses on evidence-based management and education of patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic medical imaging procedures. The ethical and moral implications associated with delivery of care, along with how human diversity in healthcare impacts the treatment of patients will be discussed. Infection control procedures utilizing standard precautions will also be briefly covered.n++
