Description:
Provides students with the basic concepts and models of supervision in counseling. The supervisory relationship, supervision methods and techniques, administrative issues, and ethical ,legal, and cultural issues in supervision will be addressed. Students will engage in experiential learning and develop a personal style of supervision. The course will focus on developing a quality supervisory working alliance, conceptualization skills, evaluation, teaching, and consultation skills.
