Provides students with foundations to expand their knowledge related to human sexuality, understand the varied sexuality issues encountered in professional counseling practice, expand skills in assessment and intervention related to sexuality, and increase one's awareness of perceptions, attitudes, and values that may impact a counseling session. Students will become more effective at identifying, assessing, and intervening with human sexuality related counseling concerns.
