Description:
Explains the supervised experience in the practical application of IONM instrumentation and procedures. Familiarizes the student with the operating room environment and gains competence with the IONM protocols for a variety of surgeries. Focuses on IONM alert and intervention techniques in minimizing iatrogenic neurological injury at hospital setting. This course builds on the knowledge and skills acquired in CSD 659. Prepares students with the knowledge and skills required to pursue Certificate of IONM.
