Description:
Provides an overview of the diagnosis and clinical management of functional, organic, and resonance voice disorders and, an overview of craniofacial disorders with emphasis on cleft lip and/or palate and velopharyngeal inadequacy (VPI). The focus of this course is on the perceptual and acoustic analysis of voice disorders, as well as a physiological view of voice therapy. Procedures for diagnosis and treatment of voice and resonance disorders and related management issues will be discussed.
