Description:
Develops further four language skills through extensive and intensive practice in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Arabic language is taught in its cultural contexts, including history, culture, diversity, and comparison with students' native communication cultures. The course develops communicative language proficiency at the Intermediate-Low and Intermediate-Mid sublevels (according to ACTFL proficiency scale) as well as develops the ability to understand and appreciate Arabic-speaking cultures.
