Students learn to evaluate the basic derivatives and their applications in financial risk management and investment. Topics include mechanics of derivatives market, price and valuation of derivatives, option pricing models (binomial tree models, Black-Scholes-Merton model), trading strategies using options, hedging strategies using derivatives, among others.
