Students explore the medium's expressive potential, use varied printing techniques, and are introduced to the discipline's professional practices. Students are exposed to varied subjects, conceptual frameworks, and historical precedents, including non-Western traditions. Studio sessions include extended work with sculpture materials, individual instruction and group critique, demonstrations, and lecture.
