This course will provide a comprehensive overview and hands-on exposure to established and current methods of isolation and purification of natural products for the purpose of identifying the ingredients that give plants their bioactivity. The course will provide students the essential skills to carry out the analytical procedures of extraction, isolation and implementation of widely-used methods and instruments.
