This graduate level course teaches group art therapy and counseling leadership skills, group dynamics, group developmental stages, theories, methods, and ethics. There are two components to this course: classroom didactics and experiential group art therapy counseling experiences. Students analyze group art therapy counseling experiences and become familiar with the theoretical knowledge, skills and models of group art therapy counseling.
