This course will provide students an understanding of the methodology of Enterprise Resource Planning as a streamlining of business processes to optimize decision making through near-perfect, real-time data integration on a global scale. The concept of the use of an enterprise software solution to achieve this will be covered with emphasis on the improvements in productivity and the value added by moving decision making down the corporate ladder, where the collective goal is to gain global competitive advantage.
