This course examines the psychological impact of the continuing life processes that occur during early, middle, and late adulthood. Theoretical frameworks of adulthood and aging, and the strengths and weaknesses of developmental research, will be reviewed. The aging process is viewed as a continuation of the life cycle as opposed to an end-stage.
