This course builds on previous knowledge of basic mircobiology, physiology. The focus of the course is application of diagnostic methods and procedures typically carried out in various practice roles and sites. The content addresses selected common laboratory and imaging tests applicable to NP practice, the rationale for these tests, expected results and common abnormal results. The legal, ethical and financial consequences of testing will be reviewed.
