Pathophysiology is the study of disruption of homeostasis in the human body. This interprofessional course provides an in-depth study of alterations in physiological, cellular and biochemical processes that manifest as disease for students interested in healthcare. Emphasis is on the inter-relationships among organ systems. Content builds upon knowledge from basic sciences to facilitate transfer of knowledge to clinical practice.
