This course is designed to be a continuation of the introductory exotics and lab animal course. It will focus on medical techniques and procedures implemented for these species in zoos and wildlife settings. Class discussions will focus on different methodologies utilized in the medical care and management of these species. The course will further explore careers within these fields for a veterinary technician and provide aglimpse in ''a day in the life of'' with a hands-on experience at a wildlife facility or zoo.
