Description:
This course is a study of the history and the fundamentals of advertising, the breakdown of roles within advertising agencies, studios, and in-house creative departments, and the function of the advertising designer in these settings. Emphasis will be placed on accurate communication of the advertiser's message through appropriate development of concepts, words and visuals which reflect strategy, positioning and brand identity. The importance of integrated media campaigns will be emphasized.
