Description:
This course covers hands-on exposure to the producing and positioning of the materials used in nanofabrication. This includes self-assembly, colloidal chemistry, atmosphere, low-pressure and plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition. It covers atomic layer deposition, sputtering, thermal and electron beam evaporation, nebulization and spin-on techniques. The course provides students with experience in deposition, fabrication and self-assembly for a variety of materials.
