This course is designed to prepare Respiratory Care students for pre-clinical competencies and clinical rotations. Students will have the opportunity outside previous lecture classes for additional "hands-on" with equipment, technology, and simulations in preparation for successful completion of clinical competencies prior to clinical rotations. In addition, students will discover how to use effective communication skills to obtain a thorough patient assessment, as well as how to effectively communicate within the healthcare team.
