This course utilizes both theory and applications related to industrial network architectures for system control and data acquisition integration. Course topics include design methodologies, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, grounding/bonding, standards, serial, parallel, wired and wireless protocols. A research and development project is required. 2 hours lecture, 3 hours lab.
