Description:
This study abroad includes 25 hours of hands-on practical experience in one of the following areas: 1) a rural school, 2) a rural health clinic, or 3) a business office for tourism. Placement will vary depending upon a student's discipline of study. Opportunities to interact with a variety of related service providers enhance the experience while offering students multiple perspectives and techniques for enriching the lives of individuals living in a developing country. In addition to the field placement, students will gain an understanding of the culture, history, and experience the natural beauty of the country through sightseeing tours and activities
