This course will cover Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), more commonly known as MIG and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) more commonly known as TIG. Students will learn procedures to set-up both a MIG system and a TIG system, operate them and make adjustments for a variety of conditions that welders encounter. Coaching and hands-on practice will help develop necessary skills. Basic supplies are included in the tuition, however a welding helmet, welding coat, welding gloves, cutting goggles and safety glasses are required. You may purchase these items through the college.
