Our best comprehensive class for the beginning welder. This course covers a variety of welding types and techniques. Technical information and lots of hands-on experience in electric arc welding, cutting, brazing, oxygen-acetylene, acetylene (MIG) welding , metal identification, plasma cutting and heliarc (TIG) welding. Students are required to provide their own essential welding safety gear: protective clothing, welding hood, safety glasses and gloves. The textbook is recommended but not required.
