This course is designed to develop the welding skill of an individual in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), commonly known as MIG Welding. This module consists of approximately eight hours of classroom instruction in GMAW theory. The balance of the training involves hands-on GMAW skill practice in the welding lab. The focus will be on learning and practicing proper welding techniques for flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead welding positions.
