Discusses the dietary department and resident nutrition as they pertain to the nursing facility. Certain topics include quality of care and life, and and nutritional problems of the elderly. This course is one of 16 required course modules, mandated by the PA State Board of Nursing Home Administrators, that make up the 120-hour Nursing Home Administrator certificate program for those desiring to become a nursing home administrator. This course may be taken as part of the full program or as a standalone for those individuals desiring continuing education units.
