Explores the value and benefits of a positive Mindset for the safety and survival of Probation and Parole Officers in dangerous circumstances. This course also reviews the basic principles of marksmanship and weapon handling skills, provides instruction in tactical movement to cover and concealment as well as immediate actions to clear malfunctioning handguns. Students must successfully complete the Commission???s Basic Firearms Training Program. This course is not taught by HACC.
