Covers the importance of shoe, foot, and tire impressions which are left behind at crime scenes and the importance this particular type of evidence can be to a criminal investigation. The course material is presented in lecture format and covers lectures on the various types of impressions, their causation, and use in identification. Upon completion of the lecture portion of the course, students receive practical training on impression identification, photography, and collection.
