This course develops basic theory and hands-on skills in plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and/or other construction trades and their related skills. Application of trade skills in this class will emphasize safety in residential or small commercial facilities. Students gain experience and theory knowledge on safety, processes, using appropriate tools, equipment, materials, and techniques for a variety of construction trades. This course is designed for entry level employees and those that have an interest in the field of residential construction.
