This course is designed to make firefighters aware of safety requirements at the scene of a structure collapse and enable them to participate effectively during the initial stages of structural collapse operations. Students will learn to identify and mitigate hazards, recognize the need for assistance, and perform as an integral part of the overall operation, once technical teams are on-site.
