Covers the techniques and terminology used in writing short stories through process. This course focuses on methods of invention and discovery; writing original short stories; analyzing and evaluating original student work (in workshop); revising original work; utilizing elements of fiction; and advancing the development of the writer's voice. Prerequisite: ENGL 101 with a grade of C or better, or permission of the Instructor.
