The Critical Care Provider Course is designed for Paramedics and Prehospital Registered Nurses that are looking to advance their existing clinical knowledge. The course is intended to introduce participants to the realm of critical care medicine from a transport perspective, both air and ground. Participants will be introduced to a variety of critical illnesses and injuries and their associated pathophysiology. Participants will learn the fundamentals of critical care transport and advanced pre-hospital medicine. The course will focus on transport related issues and aid the provider in becoming an integral member of the critical care transport team.
