Explores helpful aspects of self-awareness, mindfulness and proactive actions to build trust in the workplace. This course covers the key role that emotional intelligence plays workplace trust to create safe places for conducting crucial conversations. Students are taught the tools to handle resistance and defensiveness for engaging in challenging topics/dialogue. This course is structure to allow students to thoughtfully practice the techniques taught in-class through evenly-paced learning sessions facilitated by a highly qualified instructor in a personalized setting. This course may be offered though in-class instruction or via remote learning instruction, using Zoom technology, and includes breaks and interactive practice sessions.
