This "BOOT CAMP" presents an integrated course of knowledge and exercises to prepare technicians for basic diagnosis and repair of automatic transmissions. The course covers the basic principles of automatic transmissions including hydraulics theory, transmission hydraulics, gear set theory, and transmission components. Participants will complete a variety of hands-on exercises including group activities exploring Pascal's Law, manipulating gear sets, and identification of transmission components.
