Description:
Students in this course will gain knowledge in the following topics; concepts of electricity, electronics and controls related to industrial applications, industrial control devices and sensors, relays and electromechanical control, electrical diagrams, transformers and power distribution, solid state power devices, motors, starters and drives, AC/DC motor control, and process control fundamentals. The students' training will be applied though various hands-on labs and exercises. Appropriate safety standards will be followed as well as proper use of hand tools and equipment. Additional course fees $30.00.
