Psychology

This course examines how people can keep themselves healthy, as well as research in the field of health management from theory to practical application. The approach is biopsychosocial, beginning with an overview of the systems of the body, followed by exploration of health related behaviors, health compromising behaviors, stress and coping, pain management, and patient-provider relations, among other related topics.
