Fundamentals of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics is an introduction to the fundamental concepts and technologies in business intelligence, data analytics and data science. Students are exposed to various analytic techniques underlying distributed storage and efficient analysis of large amounts of data. An overview of approaches used to extract information and knowledge from data, verification, testing and presentation of results. Software tools are used to provide decision-makers with accurate and timely information. Current data and analytics tools are examined. 3-0-3
