Description:
This course includes a comprehensive study of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) Procedure Coding System and Common Procedural Terminology (CPT) classification systems used in the ambulatory care and inpatient setting. The relationship between coding practice and corporate compliance, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) is emphasized.
