This course focuses on the theory for leadership and management roles, leadership theories, and the ethical decision-making process in the delivery of health care to diverse populations. The student will apply concepts from this course and gleaned from previous courses to enhance professional nursing practice in both the theoretical realm and the practice environment. Nursing leadership and management practices will be analyzed with an emphasis on planning, delivering, and evaluating cost-effective quality care.
