Description:
The course will introduce students to the field of Computational Physics. Students will learn how to use the computer to solve problems in physics that cannot easily be solved analytically ("by hand"). Besides reading and learning about the techniques, students will be expected to write software to implement the techniques learned in class in order to gain insight into the physical phenomena and the computational techniques.
