Description:

This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of data management and analysis using the SAS system. Emphasis will be placed on the management of large data sets and related data manipulation, including reading, processing, recoding, and reformatting of data. The approach will be to teach by example, with an emphasis on hands-on learning. Each participant should afterwards be able to take and pass the "Base" and possibly also the "Advanced Programmer for SAS9" Certification offered through the SAS Institute.
